Town Hall: The Global Refugee Crisis

Refugees
Refugee flows, especially but not limited to flows from Syria into Europe, have become a issue of global significance in 2015. Join us for a town hall event to discuss the global refugee crisis, featuring Dr. Marc Rosenblum.

6:30 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 6, 2015, in the Reinsch Auditorium.

To bring a richer context to current events, the Politics program runs Town Hall events for the Marymount community, bringing issue experts from the Washington area to campus for open discussions with students, faculty, and staff. At these meetings, speakers are asked to keep their initial statements limited and then devote an hour or more to address questions from the community. These events are typically scheduled on short notice, as newsworthy issues arise, but draw considerable campus interest and engagement.
